smokediver, it was the bolt in the +ive B on passanger side. Thanks for your help. Would never have guessed removing and cleaning the clamp bolt would solve the problem. Everything else was pristine.

Once again the alternator stopped working after 3 hours of plowing.
I have deep cleaned and "die-electriced" the 4 battery posts and bolts twice.
Any other ideas gentlemen?

Could you expand on the "bolt in the cable end"?
I think you are saying the bolt on the cable that clamps on the +ive battery terminal caused a break in continuity?
