Good morning DR, high 20's to low 30's and cold moving in over the next few days......might ought to get some gas for the generator. Hope it still runs. Thinking about a wood stove for next year.

Finally, +13 and climbing. Maybe some snow by tomorrow night. Bad part is they are predicting temps as high as the low 40s by Wednesday along with rain and freezing rain.
Heading out to the cabin to see what I can get done.

Cloudy 30's today. No dump truckin' today so basically goofed off. Bought a cool little battery powered pump from harbor freight (and got 20% off and a free flashlight as part of deal) for transferring fuel or kerosene and used it to put kerosene in the truck.

Went to babysit my granddaughter yesterday 100 miles away, and then all Hell broke out with the weather, we drove in an ice storm for 3 hrs and had to motel it just 25 miles from home, just too treacherous to risk our lives. Power outtages everywhere, then had to shovel 2' of snow off our roof.

Be careful, hard work in the cold can be hard on yer parts.
Kerosene is nearly $5/gal. Is jet kerosene high like that?

Good morning DR, clear and cool.....low teen's to mid 20's. Coffee is ready and my trip to the Huddle Joint is a go.....I like the breakfast and the staff. One in particular I'm just about over winter, suffering from PMS....Parked Motorcycle Syndrome....YouTube videos of The Dragon are wearing thin. Oh well......next year. Fuel prices at the airport are 3.55 , 3.60 w/Prist and 4.10 for 100LL as per Flightaware. ....how accurate that is I can't say.

A storm has blown in from the south. Winds 20mph gusting to 40. Temperature peaked at 40 at 3 AM and has been slowly dropping, currently 33. No rain or snow yet, it may pass us or pound us. Went to change a bad GFI in the bathroom at the cabin and found a bunch of other electrical problems. My work is cut out for me.
