Default Fuel pressure gauge

There's been some questions through the years about running a fuel pressure gauge on a 24V engine. The question of using an isolator or not, and not being sure of what a shutoff valve is, how and where to mount the valve, has came up before. The shutoff valve is also called a needle or a snubber valve, they all do the same thing.

This is how mine is set up. I've been running this way for 6+ years with no problems so far, it has fuel going into the gauge in the pillar. As you can see, the banjo bolts have been eliminated in place of AN fittings. The shut off valve is the fitting with the small handle on it. The valve is closed off then opened up just enough to get a reading on the gauge. This saves the gauge from getting pulsations and destroying it. The steel braided line goes to the gauge. It's wrapped with heater hose so the line doesn't rub anything and cause any damage.

I chose the bottom of the stock filter housing to mount the valve and gauge line. There's more room to work with where it's mounted at, and it's not hanging off the side of the VP.
