Default heater issues

Been happening for the last couple years. don't have much if any warm air through any of the vents whether it's on the floor, defrost, or dash. Switches between the settings with no issue. I'm not sure how to check to see if the heater core is clogged and no circulation. Everything works fine, coolant changed regularly. Could it be a vacuum issue or no flow through the core?

Fill in the details on the truck in question, my truck has blend door issues as do some other 3rd gens. Feel both heater hoses when the engine is warm, if both hoses are warm probably not a coolant flow issue.

Since you posted in the 94-02 section I assume it's that vintage.

I had a 95 that had NO heat output.
Heater core was just stopped up. internally.
Pulled both hoses, flush with garden hose, pour in vinegar and let sit for 20 minutes, flush again, VOILA, heat!!

Likely a plugged heater core, try a flush and see what happens.

Did the flush this afternoon, and the core is clear. No obstructions at all. I bet it's a gate or selenoid of some type. Where do I need to look? Nothing on the fire wall.

Check the operation of the air blend door. Sometimes they get stuck or break.
