Default '18 emission changes?

Any? heard of egr deletes and increased filters, but haven't seen any. Local dealer says he will have 3 3500s soon

Here where I live their getting rid of emissions testing next year. I'm looking into removing all the emissions stuff and putting on a straight exhaust and twins. I haven't looked into this very far, but I'm saving up to pay for it. Did you look into Smarty?

I just bought an 2018 3500 this Saturday... I'm interested to see this thread developes.

Whatever you take off, I would for sure keep every (ounce and wires) of the stock parts if in California! It make take a while to have to be smog checked but I'm betting the newer models wont be in the grandfather or "pre smog" category. I bought a 16 2500 in November last year and just paid the registration for the year, around $675 ball park. Yes, I do miss the out of state military clause that allowed me to keep Texas plates for 20 years.
