I pulled and reinstalled, did change anything.

Will the lamp switch cause this?

Could a wire behind the radio be pinched. Didn't pull it to see?

Radio has nothing to do with it.

The switch maybe be burned inside take it out again and smell it.

Otherwise take it back to the shop in which you had work done.

That code and message deals soley with the dash.

Will a bad switch cause this issue? I am a idiot when it comes to electrical issues.

Is there a connection in the steering column that could also cause this. We did have the clam shells off.

He did, I was just watching when it was apart. Did notice he was having trouble getting the clam shells back together.
