Unless something like the unloader valve in the compressor head is sticking till it runs a bit, it should start as soon as the truck starts. Weird it's always been like that.

Mobil Delvac synthetic ATF is the one that's approved for Allisons.

Well....
Cuz in the logging business says anything over a dually is gonna require an electronic log next year???
Makes me lean toward staying with the dually.
