Yes I have swapped the relay . No change. Hopefully a code reader will shed some flight on what's going on. Will get back with y'all when I find out.

Well it pulled the 1693 code along with 216 and 230 . I know you said the 1693 was a companion code . What might the other two be and maybe what do they mean ?

216 is injection timing control.
230 is transfer pump circuit i am pretty sure.

You can probably get a 216 code with the 230 code due to the feed each other. However you could have fried your injection pump. 216 is a pretty dreaded code. I will be real with you most likely the injection pump is toast.

Well I hate to hear that. How do you go about determining if it is or not ?

You need to fix that lift pump or wiring to it first. Then see how it runs and what codes it throws.

I`m thinking ( hoping ) that since it runs fine when I have pressure ( on gage ) it has got to be in wiring or a possible bad pump ( after 2 years ? ) instead of the injector pump .

The DDRP has suffered some problems that I have seen members have. You could ohm out the wiring and check for some breaks and shake down the wiring and see if that makes a difference. Me personally i would check grounds first.

I read somewhere today on how to ohm test the wires at the pump , and the pump itself but I cant find it now and I didn`t retain that info when I read it . Any suggestions for a novice ? Or where I might find that information ?
