I've used a hacksaw to open the gap at the bolt end, after removing the bolt, so it'll tighten some more.

The hacksaw works good, coat the blade with Boelube and the lead wont foul the blade as bad.

The ear the bolt goes through broke off. So replacement was a have to.
Got the new cables, new voltage regulator, and new speedometer adapter in. Everything works as advertised again. Now I got to think about getting the 60# valve springs in. I still need to upgrade my turbo, but nothing affordable has passed by yet.

You can put vice grips on it for a temporary fix, but that's risky.
I forgot to have the shop replace the pressure switch on the transmission that signals the CompUshift unit. They will do it Tuesday for me. That should fix the intermittent OD problem.

Though my neat little circuit board is cool and all that, it's not reliable. So I'm redoing my transmission controller over rides to something reliable. An on/off switch and a relay. No more IC's.

Still working on my overdrive over ride.

I've been thinking about replacing the valve springs on mine but I keep reading crazy pressures/100 lbs. seat pressure, when the valves are small and light enough to not require that much pressure.
