Tire Pressure Monitoring System
I’m considering this option for my 5th wheel. Any input will be appreciated. Anyone using one of these systems could chime in with your experience, brands, cost, effectiveness and if they are worth it.

I read somewhere that 80% of trouble on the road was tire/brake or bearing related, always carried a tire billy and thumped them when I stopped. But I'm old school so.......

I look at the piece and than the price of a tire gauge and the tire gauge won out. I do know people that have them and they love them.

Was considering the TPMS to help reduce trailer damage in the event of a blow out. We’ve seen damages created, wiring torn out, plumbing disappears from tire shredding and body damage, not to mention what it can to the slides. I figured l could save some damage costs my monitoring tires if there is a sudden loss of pressure from a flat, thus reducing damage by pulling over a lot quicker, reducing tire shredding and or coming off the wheel . I’ve seen the damage created on my father in laws MH, not to pretty.

I remember driving across the Salt Flats in Utah a few years back towing a smaller 14’ enclosed trailer, felt a vibration for a while out of nowhere, realized I lost a tire

I guess I am old school, and I hate change! Removed all the sensors from my truck tires so all I have is the stupid idiot light on my dash. One of these days I will get around to getting a sensor and squashing it with pliers until the light goes out then putting a heavy duty zip tie around it to keep it squashed and tossing it in the glove box (yes I know that defeats the purpose of the system) and then check the tire pressure weakly like I always have done. How on earth did we ever survive before technology made us blooming idiots???
