Default mushy clutch pedal

Just installed new clutch (3rd), did not replace the master/slave (on 3rd there as well). After both master/slave installs pedal was a little mushy for a while and engage point a bit off, but eventually firmed-up.

Engage point and lock-up seem strong now, but pedal is still on the mushy side...from the factory and after both installs it's always been a bear-trap and I prefer that feel/tension.

Any idea how to build that pedal pressure back-up? Having a hard time 'feeling' the engage point with the softer pedal tension.

Not sure if there is anything that can be done, i would enjoy a lighter feel to my clutch, like you say it is a bear trap and it needs full range to shift.

But the South Bend Hydraulics. It's adjustable and has a easy pedal.
