Thumbs down Fender Flares for dually

Local police not happy with the width of my tires past the dually fenders.
I am looking to put something on the fender flares to keep them happy. Researched the web and found nothing for dually flares other than replacing the dually fender itself with an oversize fender. That is not an option. I need to extend about 3".
Any reasonable suggestions?

Thanks.
John

Around here a lot of guys use the bulk rubber fender extension you can buy from your local truck/trailer supply shop (ones that build/install service bodies, towing decks, etc). It can be cut to any length and trimmed with a sharp utility knife.

See: http://www.buyersproducts.com/Rubber...xtension/2024/

Thats not as bad as a 4x4 with wide tires and no mud flaps at all throwing rocks everywhere ! At least you have flaps and are 90% covered.

Thanks Rob. Bushwacker doesn't build anything for dually fenders or at least we haven't found anything yet. If you have a source or a website you can direct me to I would appreciate it.

Thanks
John

So now for the silly question. What year did Dodge start making Ram 3500 both in DRW & SRW?

summitracing.com and do a search by vehicle. They have them specifically for the 3500.

Ok folks. I have had 3 different suppliers here looking for fender flares for a '98 3500 Dually. Yes I am aware there are flares for a 3500, but they are for SRW not DRW. I don't want to spend a thousand bucks to replace the DRW fenders. I just want to cover the tire. To go with the fiberglass fender flares, I could remove the box and build a flat deck cheaper.

I was gonna say it might be cheaper to replace the local police. I guess they don't all ride horses up there, so you can't just out run them...

sorry that wasn't much help
