whats your fuel preasure ??????

under load in gear or slow rev it comes up smoothly . but you could be out running your lift pump on no load quick rev .

what baffels me is the rough idle and miss have you checked your valves / valve lash increase in timing could have your valves a little tight now.

um Max did you guys Gap the spark plugs correctly LOL

I'll take a semi-educated guess I'd say, it's your turbo and injectors, causing it. Similar to pulling trucks, that need to build boost before a pull. When just hitting the skinny pedal, theres no boost to help burn the fuel you're dumping in, yet when under load, the boost comes up and away you go. The more you advance the timing, the earlier the fuel is injected, which means more unburned fuel, causing your poor performance.

if thats the case you might can go 16 on it after all

just does not make since other wise

only other thing i would guess is air in line meaning one is getting air in it (i am sure you checked that one already) white grey smoke warm raw fuel vapor

and racer 9 does have a point as well .

slide the 10 plate towards stock and see what happens even though he does have the HX-40 on his truck.

Thanks for all the replys, MAX and I will get into it again here in the next few days and test all this stuff to see where it is at. I will change the fuel filter tomorrow though! I think it might just be what Racer is talking about. Just doesnt burn it well without the boost pressure! There is alot of fuel going in, But here is a food for thought, It didnt do this with the fueling mods all the same and the stock HX-35! Weird huh, Only started after I installed the 40!

my bad miss read the post then i will again say check valve lash but it sounds like you have a over fuel issue going on . white gray smoke is warm unburnt fuel . with a load it runs ok then maybe the 40 does not spool quick enough. need to slow the flow of fuel a little until the 40 can boost. turn the star wheel back a bit(add preasure to the spring ) this may help with low end over fuel

I wonder If I can adjust it by backing the starwheel down a little to limit pre boost fuel, Not the plate because that is after boost, but the starwheel might solve it!
