Default Wheel interchange chart?

Does anyone have a wheel interchange chart? What I'm looking for is if Ford/GM/Dodge 8 lug wheels will fit each others trucks.
I need new tires for winter. At a minimum of $600 for 4 new (mounting and balancing) and finding out that 17" tires are more plentiful, and a little cheaper, I'm debating going boneyarding for a set of 17" wheels/tires. And knowing that Dodge is usually a little harder to find, I'm wondering if Ford/GM will work.
I know the backspacing may be an issue, but I ran some Ford wheels for a while last year on each end, with no clearance issues. And the extra set of Dodge steels I got were at one time on a GM pulling truck.
I'm looking to save some bucks, any ideas?

The hub size of a GM wheel will not go over a Dodge hub.

GM = 4.55 or 4.56 I don't remember
Dodge = 4.77
Ford = 4.88

So you can use ford, but you cant use GM without machining out the center of the wheel.

Ford rims are now metric bolt paterns and won't fit. I think 99 and newer is when they changed.

THat's right...Ford's are an 8x170mm or something like that. I believe if the rims come off a truck with the 7.3L they will still the old standard BP but when the 6-leaker came out they switched to the metric BP.

7.3's went into the 2000's I think 01 or 02, but Im pretty sure the bolt pattern changed in 99.

bolt pattern went to 8 on 170 in 1999 1997 was the last 8 on 6.5 from ford. They had 7.3 way back into 90's, they had a 7.3 before the turbo one. The 6.0 came out in 03 along with a 7.3 full 6.0 motors in 04.
But back to original topic bolt pattern changed in 99

Well, I gave up on that idea. Really hurting for cash right now, (who isn't) I'm looking for decent used tires. Found a set of Bridgestone winter duelers for $200, that are supposed to have real good tread. I'll check them out later this week.
Still, good wheel info for later on down the road. Thanks.
Tirerack.com has lots of good tire info, in case anyone needs it.
