The local Kenworth dealer sells them at a very low price, worth checking out your local dealer for 900CCA.

Had good luck with NAPA batteries......It's the same building as the National Aviation Parts Association.....you just go in the other door where they keep Auto Parts...…. :dunno: t:)

I installed 2 -900cca batteries in my first gen from CASE tractor, they are from a skidsteer/backhoe, they are built for vibration and a lot of bouncing around, just like a first gen. They're not maintenance free, which I prefer. Up here, they were $120.00 each (cdn).

Interstate batteries have always been good for me.

I have one of these in my polaris sportsman, its a beast for a power sports battery. When I need one for my truck, its getting an odyssey.

Finally got round to it after it died again from sitting for a month and a half. Got a couple of O'Really's 840 CCA group 27s for $300 for the pair. One of the old batteries was a 7 year old reman, the other an Exide with unknown years on it. I fried my multi-meter trying to check the voltage drain, but I had it on the wrong setting. That will give me an excuse to by a Fluke.

Glad you got it taken care of. I use Interstate Batteries

cougar 05-21-2020 07:49 AM

The only 2 Interstate battery dealers in the area don't stock anything. But they'd be happy to order a couple for me plus a couple hundred dollars in hazmat freight. It's the same old story, buy what they have on the shelf or pay out the ear on shipping. At least the pair I got had the same and resent (April) manufacture date.
