The second pfizer shot was rough for me, my whole body hurt, I got the shot on a wednesday afternoon a while back, went to bed at 9, woke up at 11 frozen, was shivering so bad I could barely hold on to a glass of water. My entire body ached, I went to work, somehow managed to knock out a turbocharger replacement on an B6.7 in a FTL M2, left work a little early, slept from 3pm to 8 pm, had a little dinner, went to bed at 830, slept like a rock, and woke at 430 am the next morning feeling perfect, it was really strange to me.

I went to the NY state fairgrounds, supposedly the second biggest vaccination site after the Javits center in NYC.

I kind of felt like it was a crock blown out of proportion by the media in the early stages, After seeing our parts runner get really sick, and then lose his wife of over 50 years and one of our equipment guys nearly lose his life less than a year from retirement, I don't doubt the slightest bit it is real. There is definitely a lot of things that happened that governments/media took advantage of and probably did wrong, but it definitely was no run of the mill flu.

I had the virus week of Thanksgiving.
Fever 101-102 for 2 days...3rd day about 100.
Stayed on the couch for a week. Tried to walk around outside once or twice and had to go lay down after 10 minutes.
10 days later went to pick up a building. Thought I was doing ok. 5 miles from being back home, just driving down the road, almost passed out. Pulled over and laid across my seat for 15 minutes and eased home.
Like a bad case of the flu with a hangover.
The different strains affect people different though.
So, if I had the virus, I should be good, but do I have protection from other strains..?
Which strains do the shot protect you from...??

Apparently you do have some immunity after having it, but the shots take it to another level. I usually listen to Dr. Radio on Sirius on my way into work, great source of info.

Yep, works every time.
Many years ago, a friend tried that with a throat infection....we had to take him to the emergency room with the 104.5F fever.
